Cookies and browser storage

What Renderly stores in your browser, why it is used and how to manage it.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small records that websites can send with browser requests. Local storage keeps records on your device between visits; session storage is generally limited to the current tab. Renderly uses browser storage for account access, pending checkout, catalogue caching and interface choices.

The current Renderly application does not include advertising pixels or analytics trackers. If optional tracking is introduced, its purposes and any required choices must be provided before use.

Storage used by the current application

Account-scoped keys include an account identifier. Catalogue keys include a namespace. Persistent storage has no automatic browser expiry; an application can stop using a record before the browser removes it. The lifetimes below distinguish those cases.

Key or patternPurposeStorage and lifetime
renderly-auth-sessionRequired account session and session renewal.Local storage; retained while the session is active, until sign-out, invalidation or browser clearing.
renderly-auth-session*-code-verifierRequired sign-in and recovery verification, including per-flow records and their index.Local storage; cleaned up during flow completion, replacement or session teardown. Browser clearing also removes records.
renderly-pending-checkout:<account>Required recovery of a pending checkout without creating a duplicate purchase request.Session storage; records are accepted for up to 48 hours, removed when resolved and normally removed when the tab session ends.
renderly-themeAppearance preference shared by the workspace and documentation.Local storage; until changed or cleared.
renderly:activity-timezone:v1:<account>Local time or UTC display in account history.Local storage; until changed or cleared.
renderly-price-updates:<account-or-visitor>Price-update display preferences and dismissed notices.Local storage; until changed or cleared.
renderly-model-favorites:<account>Model favourites selected in the catalogue.Local storage; until changed or cleared.
renderly-catalog:v3:<namespace>; matching :gzip recordFunctional cache of public catalogue information for quicker browsing.Local storage; refreshed after five minutes; browsing metadata is retained for up to 48 hours. Old records may remain until replaced or cleared.
renderly-catalog-paint:v1:<namespace>Public model cards, covers and ordering for immediate display.Local storage; replaced after successful catalogue refreshes, accepted for up to 48 hours and invalidated by changed deployment data.

Manage interface preferences

The controls on this page can reset the saved appearance, activity time zone and price-update display choices. This reset preserves sign-in, model favourites and pending checkout records.

Use your browser’s site-data controls to view or clear other stored records. Clearing account storage can sign you out, clearing favourites removes those choices, and clearing checkout state can make a pending checkout harder to resume. Your server-held balance, jobs and payment records are separate from browser storage.

Private browsing, tab recovery and browser settings can affect how long data stays on your device. Blocking all storage may prevent sign-in or payment recovery and can stop preferences being remembered.

External resources and checkout

Some pages load font or image assets from external hosts. Your browser sends the network information needed to retrieve those resources. Hosted sign-in and checkout pages may use their own session or fraud-prevention technologies under their own notices; their records are not part of the Renderly storage table.

Use the available privacy contact options for questions about browser data.

Browser storage preferences

Renderly currently uses essential storage and preferences you set in the workspace. No optional advertising or analytics tracking is configured. Your browser can control or clear site storage; blocking essential storage can prevent sign-in.

Resetting below clears appearance, activity time zone and price-alert preferences on this browser. It keeps your account session, favorites and pending checkout state. Revisit the workspace to load the default preferences.
