Trust and safety
The principles, reporting options and account-review rules that support responsible creation on Renderly.
Last updated:
People, consent and control
Renderly is for adults creating with permission and respect for others. Child sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, deceptive impersonation and serious abuse are prohibited across the workspace and API.
The Acceptable use policy describes the boundaries. Your access to a model does not remove those boundaries or the conditions applicable to that model.
Safeguards and their limits
Enabled models can apply content safeguards, and the platform can restrict requests or accounts. Safeguards can miss prohibited material or reject a legitimate request; a successful technical result is not a determination that the content is lawful or appropriate.
Review creations before sharing them. Obtain consent for a person’s likeness and voice, protect personal information and make required synthetic-media disclosures. Developers are responsible for applying the same rules in applications that use their API keys.
Reporting harmful content
The reporting page helps you prepare a report about a creation, unauthorized likeness, intellectual-property concern or other abuse. Include a location or job identifier and enough context to explain the issue. It identifies available delivery channels and clearly distinguishes report preparation from delivery.
For child-safety concerns and intimate-image abuse, provide identifiers and a description rather than uploading the harmful material. You can report content affecting you or someone else; state clearly whether you are the affected person or an authorized representative.
Relevant service records may be needed to assess a delivered report. Requests for further information and any action should reflect the issue’s severity, evidence, privacy considerations and applicable legal obligations.
Account actions and appeals
A response to abuse may include refused requests, content access restrictions, warnings, limits on features, suspension or termination. Immediate restrictions may be appropriate for child exploitation, active harm, fraud or a security threat. Legal preservation or reporting duties apply where required.
If you believe a restriction was applied in error, prepare an appeal with the account or job identifier, the action you are challenging and relevant context. Appeal options depend on the available contact channel. Filing an appeal does not itself restore access.
Independent image-abuse resources
Take It Down offers help with intimate images taken when the person depicted was under 18. StopNCII.org offers a tool for eligible adults concerned about the sharing of their intimate images. These independent services operate under their own rules and notices; a link here does not mean Renderly participates in their matching networks.
For an immediate threat to someone’s safety, contact the appropriate local emergency service.
